RCR 2009 will bring together scientists, researchers and manufacturers dealing with refrigerant charge reduction in refrigerating systems and air conditionning in order to discuss the latest developments in this field ( compact heat exchangers, secondary fluids, substitution of flooded evaporators, new control methods of the installation to minimize the refrigerant amount, optimization of the liquid line, ... ).
As you probably have developped new systems, we offer you the opportunity to present your point of view on industrial achievements and innovations that enable refrigerant charge reduction. Also we would very much appreciate if you could contribute to this day, your participation could take three forms:
1- Oral presentation
You could make a presentation of the various systems, equipments or concepts that your company commercialises and that promotes refrigerant charge reduction. You would have a 5 to 10 minutes presentation in the workshop (time to be discussed). This presentation will present the technical aspects of the system.
Then, the registration to the workshop would amount 700€, including fees, lunch, dinner, conference CD ROM, company's name and slides in the proceedings.
2- Sponsorship of
the event
Insert of your logo on the conference program, in the proceedings and on the web site:
the location of your logo will depend on the amount of your donation (from 400€) (workshop registration fee not included).
The 1st International IIR RCR 2009 workshop will offer an opportunity for companies to reach an audience with a strong interest in that field. With research experts and industry players from around the world discussing the latest research, current issues facing the industry and delivering an updated overview of what the future holds, this is a not to be missed opportunity for companies to become involved in this event.
3- Both oral
presentation and sponsorship
Do not hesitate to contact us for further information.

Abstracts
A list of guidelines is attached below for downloading. Abstracts should be submitted for oral presentations. Once reviewed, comments from the referees will be sent to you by e-mail for editing an resubmission prior to the conference.
The abstracts will be available at the start of the conference. Please note that registration is compulsory for at least the presenting author of submitted final contributions, and that Abstracts will NOT be edited before publication.
You can download a sample abstract in MS Word, which contains and explains all required styling and formats. The sample document will serve as a document template that allows you to easily create your abstract. Alternatively, you can download a PDF file (readable with Acrobat Reader).
Submit your abstract to the Chairman and Conference Secretariat, preferably by e-mail. Attach your abstract in an email and mention 'abstract' in the subject field.
Full papers
A set of guidelines for the full paper are attached above. The final full paper for oral presentations should not be longer than eight pages, including figures and tables.
Submit your final paper to the Conference Secretariat, preferably by CD or e-mail at the conference. If you are sending the final paper via e-mail, attach your paper in an e-mail and mention "final paper" in the subject field. Alternatively, final papers submitted via CD including a hard copy will be accepted.
Oral presentation guidelines
The time allowed for oral presentation is 15 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes for questions afterwards. Strict time schedules will be followed.
All presentations must be via computer screen presentations. Microsoft PowerPoint presentations are preferred. An LCD projector and a PC with the latest version of MS PowerPoint will be available. Authors are requested to bring their presentation on CD, USB memory stick or send it to the conference secretariat prior to the conference by e-mail.
